Gino Paoli (Genova, 1934) is an Italian singer-songwriter of great international success. He began his career in the 1950s with jazz and beat music, before establishing himself as one of the most important songwriters in the Italian panorama of the 1960s and 1970s. His songs, characterized by poetic lyrics and catchy melodies, have addressed social and personal themes with sensitivity and depth.
