Aram Quartet was an Italian vocal quartet formed in Salento. The group's name is an acronym of the initials of its four members: Antonio Maggio, Raffaele Simone, Antonio Ancora and Michele Cortese. The quartet won the first edition of X Factor Italy in 2008, beating other contestants with a powerful and harmonious vocal performance. Aram Quartet distinguished itself for the interpretation of pop and soul songs, often enriched by original arrangements. Among their most notable successes are "Un giorno", "La mia vita" and "Non ti dimenticherò". After winning X Factor, the quartet released an album of the same name which achieved modest commercial success. Aram Quartet disbanded in 2010.
