Got a stack of books so I could learn how to live;
Many are left half-read covered by the cobwebs on my shelf.
And I got a list of laws growing longer everyday;
If I keep pluggin' away, maybe one day I'll perfect myself.
Oh, but all of my labor seems to be in vain;
And all of my laws just cause me more pain;
So I fall before you in all of my shame;
Ready and willing to be changed-
Chorus:
Own me
Take all that I am,
And heal me!
With the blood of the lamb.
Mold me with your gracious hand;
Break me till I'm only yours-
Own me!
You call me daughter,
And take my blame;
You run to meet me,
As I cry out your name,
So I fall before you in all of my shame,
Lord, I am ready to be changed
Ginny Owens is an American singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, she has been blind since the age of two. After graduating from Belmont University with a degree in Music Education, she discovered that most people were skeptical about hiring a blind music teacher. Instead, she focused on singing and songwriting and began producing CDs in 1999 with Rocketown Records, a label under Michael W. Smith. Her music has been featured on television shows such as Roswell and Felicity. Owens has also received three Dove Awards, including New Artist of the Year (2000). In January 2005, Ginny Owens started a non-profit organization called the Fingerprint Initiative. The organization has worked in conjunction with other groups, such as Compassion International, The International Justice Mission, and Habitat for Humanity. Ginny Owens has been featured on CNN to talk about the organization and their efforts to help rebuild New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
