Tosca is an Italian artist known for her powerful and versatile voice, capable of spanning from pop to jazz, passing through songwriting. Born in Italy, she begins her artistic journey in theater with a small Roman company. It is in a piano bar that she is noticed by Renzo Arbore, who introduces her to television with the program "Il caso Sanremo". In 1989 she sings in the soundtrack of the film "Scugnizzi" by Nanni Loy and in 1992 her first album of the same name is released. She participates in the Sanremo Festival in the young category with the song "Cosa farà Dio di me". Tosca collaborates with artists of great prestige such as Lucio Dalla, Riccardo Cocciante, Renato Zero and Ron, with whom she wins the 1996 Sanremo Festival with the song "Vorrei incontrarti fra cent'anni". In 1997 she releases the album "Incontri e passaggi", containing songs written for her by Ennio Morricone, Lucio Dalla, Chico Buarque and others. She wins the Tenco Award as best interpreter. Tosca is also a successful voice actress, lending her voice to the animated film "Anastasia". In 1997 she plays the lead role in the musical "Sette spose per sette fratelli". Among her most representative songs: "Carcere 'e mare", "Cosa farà Dio di me", "Vorrei incontrarti fra cent'anni", "Nel respiro più grande".
