Pecoranera is an Italian band formed in Modena in 2010. The original nucleus consisted of Lero and Carra, former members of the punk-rock band The Burps. In 2010, Mattia and Zillo joined, completing the current lineup. Their sound draws inspiration from the Italian punk-rock of the '90s and the contemporary American scene, characterized by reflective lyrics and contagious energy. Pecoranera has released a self-titled EP in 2010 and the album «7 Minuti avanti» in 2014, both produced by Nicolò Gasparini (Peter Punk). In 2018 they released their third studio album, «Difetti di produzione», distributed by Duff Records. The album is preceded by the single «Vortici», accompanied by a music video available on the band's YouTube channel. Among the most representative songs are «Vortici», «Branco» and «7 Minuti avanti». Pecoranera has played over one hundred concerts, sharing the stage with prominent national and international artists such as L'Invasione degli Omini Verdi and Useless ID.
