The Kumbia Kings were a Mexican musical group specializing in cumbia, formed in San Antonio, Texas, in 1997. Their sound, a fusion of traditional cumbia with elements of hip hop, Latin pop and R and B, achieved enormous success in the United States and Latin America. The group was led by the talented singer and songwriter Domingo Quiñones, known for his powerful voice and energetic performances.
