Thin Lizzy is an Irish hard rock band formed in Dublin in 1969. The founding members were guitarist Eric Bell, organist Eric Wrixon, singer and bassist Philip Lynott, and drummer Brian Downey. The group achieved international fame in the 1970s with a sound characterized by powerful guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and lyrics often inspired by Irish mythology.
