I Cani is a musical project created by Niccolò Contessa, a Roman singer-songwriter and producer. Born in 1987, Contessa began his musical career in the early 2000s with collaborations in the indie rock scene. In 2013, he gave birth to I Cani, a project that sees him as the author, performer, and producer of songs characterized by melancholic atmospheres and introspective lyrics. His sound is a blend of folk, Italian songwriting, and indie rock influences, with particular attention to the use of acoustic instruments and minimalist arrangements.
