Riccardo Ruiu is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Sardinia. His musical journey begins with performing covers, evolving into original composition inspired by Italian songwriting. His songs are characterized by social and romantic themes, often reflected in the lyrics. In 2009, he collaborates with poet Jacqueline C. Miù (Uccelli blu, Joker man). In 2010, he releases his debut album, "È l'amore", containing songs in Italian, English, and Spanish. Among the most notable tracks are "È l'amore" and "I can't sleep", an English version of "No potho reposare", a classic of traditional Sardinian music. He participates in various festivals, including the "Tour Music Festival" presided over by Mogol, where his lyrical sensitivity is appreciated.
