Samiam è una band californiana formatasi a Berkeley alla fine del 1988 dopo lo scioglimento di Isocracy, gruppo storico del club Gilman. Il loro primo concerto risale a gennaio 1989 con Christ on Parade. Hanno pubblicato dischi attraverso New Red Archives e Hopeless Records negli Stati Uniti e Burning Heart Records in Europa.
