Mumford and Sons is an English indie folk band formed in London in 2007. The quartet, consisting of Marcus Mumford (vocals, guitar), Ben Lovett (keyboards, percussion), Winston Marshall (banjo, guitar) and Ted Dwane (bass, backing vocals), quickly gained attention for their energetic folk-rock sound and introspective lyrics.
