It's so hard to feel alive
When you barely open your eyes
I lost my way so long ago, it feels ok to be alone
But the nights, they hurt like hell
It's been a year since I've been well
Living in this slumber, the darkest times have pulled me under ground
It's over now
I've been lost along the way, but I can break it down
I'll learn to live without you, it's over it's over now
Was it a curse or maybe a scar
A flickering fire alone in the dark, but I can break it down
It's not too late
This last know residence
No longer makes much sense
The years I've wasted here with you did nothing more than drain our youth
We're so much older now
It took awhile to figure out
The dark times pulled me under, burned everything that I loved to the ground
It's over now
It's not too late
It wasn't oh so long ago, you said love could conquer all
When I tried to break it down
You put up four white walls
