Ianez, all'anagrafe Andrea Iannone, è un cantautore e scrittore nato a Vasto, in Abruzzo. Inizia la sua carriera musicale alla fine degli anni '90 come cantante dei MNT (Melan Nephos Thanatou), una formazione black metal che ottiene successo tra pubblico e critica di genere. Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo, Ianez intraprende un percorso di ricerca artistica personale, culminando nella formazione dei Renè Golconda nel 2012. Con i Renè Golconda entra in rotazione radiofonica nazionale con il brano "Eri Distratta", prodotto da Andrea Gallo e arrangiato da Gigi De Rienzo (bassista dei Napoli Centrale), collaboratore di artisti come Bennato e Pino Daniele. Nel 2018 pubblica il romanzo "Sette foglie di oleandro", un noir gotico urbano metafisico edito da Lupieditore, che ottiene consensi dalla critica e numerosi premi letterari. Dopo una pausa dalla musica, Ianez collabora con Lorenzo D'Annunzio (bassista) e Fabio Tumini (Satellite Rec), dando vita al progetto solista omonimo. Ianez raccoglie in questo progetto tutte le esperienze musicali dell'artista, dai testi parlati all'elettronica. Dopo i primi due singoli "Siamo stati noi" e "Piscina (anche il mare si scorda di te)", esce l'album "Figli delle sberle". Con il brano "Blu", Ianez definisce il suo genere musicale, una denuncia contro la violenza sulle donne. Segue "New Black", un brano distopico che affronta i temi del degrado sociale e politico, e "Minerva", una canzone onirica e romantica. Nel 2022 pubblica "Analisti ne abbiamo?", dove affronta con ironia e sarcasmo il tema dei tuttologi sui social network. Il suo ultimo singolo, "L'Addio", in uscita il 14 Ottobre 2022, descrive i sentimenti scatenati dall'addio, i ricordi che ci fanno chiedere come sarebbe stato e un amore mai del tutto dimenticato.
