Westlife is an Irish boy band formed in Sligo in 1998. The group, composed of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne, achieved enormous success in Europe and worldwide with their melodic pop characterized by orchestral arrangements and romantic lyrics.
