Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) are an American hard rock band formed in Palm Desert, California, in the mid-1990s. Founded by guitarist and singer Josh Homme, former member of the cult stoner-rock band Kyuss, QOTSA is considered one of the most influential bands of the 21st century.
