Corb Lund is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for his unique blend of country, folk, and rock music with western influences. Born in Alberta in 1965, Lund began his musical career in the 1980s playing in local bands. In 1994, he released his debut album, "The Engine Driver", followed by a string of successful albums such as "Hair in My Eyes Like a Highland Steer" (2003) and "Horse Soldier! Horse Soldier!" (2007). Lund is renowned for his narrative songs that tell stories of everyday life, cowboys, and characters from the American West. He has collaborated with artists like The Sadies and has won numerous music awards, including the Canadian Country Music Award for album of the year. Some of his most representative tracks include "The Ballad of the Alberta Oil Sands", "Keep It Clean", and "My Favourite Picture of You".
