(feat. Paloma Faith)
Go on with a smile your joints so out of place
miles from the world so by far you get my praise
on your dog is face paint I see the tracks of his
running around like a mouse in a cage for a thousand years
drinking wine to take away your pain
collect all the tears you cry
collect them all for me
what's a girl gotta do to get your attention
well and nothing's ever happened no oh
what's a girl gotta do to have some fun with you
shut your mouth put your lips on me
i feel guilty waiting for you to notice me
should i write it on my forehead do you need it on TV
can't you see i'm a freak for you as sweet as tea and lime
and it so clear to me you are empty as can be
drinking wine to take away your pain
collect all the tears you cry
collect them all for me
what's a girl gotta do to get your attention
well and nothing's ever happened no oh
what's a girl gotta do to have some fun with you
shut your mouth put your lips on me
how does one equal three
sometimes it is hard to find
sometimes to my suprise
cause all i want to do is die
when you touch me
yeah you want me
when you touch me
yeah you want me
no sir don't
buh doomp buh duh doomp [x2]
what's a girl gotta do to get your attention
well and nothing's ever happened no oh
what's a girl gotta do to have some fun with you
shut your mouth put your lips on me [x2]
dali llama caught you ah caught you ah
Basement Jaxx is a British electronic music duo formed by Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton in the 1990s. Initially known for hosting a popular club night in London, they went on to produce their own music, releasing their debut album *Remedy* in 1999. The album was an immediate success, with singles «Red Alert» and «Rendez-Vu» reaching the top five of the UK charts. Their second album, *Rooty*, takes its name from the club nights they used to run and was equally popular, with singles «Romeo» (No. 6) and «Where's Your Head At?» (No. 9) charting. The latter song is arguably the Basement Jaxx' most famous, having been featured in TV shows, adverts, and video games. The music video for «Where's Your Head At?» features monkeys wreaking havoc in a laboratory.

Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
