What's it gonna take

How many times have I waited for you
Hoping that youll just call
And how many times have I wanted to hear
Words you dont say at all.
You know I try so hard
But I cant get through
Ive got so much for you.

Chorus:
When tell me whats it gonna take to make you
Whats it gonna take
My heart is in your hand
Ive done all that I can
How long must I wait?
Well, whats it gonna take to make you love me.

So many nights I think about you
Waiting for love to call
And so many dreams that will never come true
They all have no chance at all
But if you let me in
I can challange you
Oh what I have for you.

Chorus:
When tell me whats it gonna take to make you
Whats it gonna take
My heart is in your hand
Ive done all that I can
How long must I wait?
Well, tell me whats it gonna take to make you,
Whats it gonna take
My heart is in your hand
Ive done all that I can
How long will I wait?
Well, whats it gonna take
Well, whats it gonna take
Well, whats it gonna take
To make you love me.

Ive never been wrong about feelin so right
Want you love me too
Ive waited so long if just for a night
Baby love me too
And if you let me in
I can challange you
Just what I have for you.

Chorus:
When tell me whats it gonna take to make you
Whats it gonna take
Oh, my heart is in your hand
Ive done all that I can
How long must I wait?
Baby, tell me whats it gonna take
Well, tell me whats it gonna take to make you,
Whats it gonna take
My heart is in your hand
Ive done all that I can
How long will I wait?
Baby, whats it gonna take
Baby, whats it gonna take
Baby, whats it gonna take
To make you love me.

Biografia

Molly Hatchet is an American southern rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1975. Founded by Dave Hlubek and Steve Holland, the band's name comes from a prostitute who allegedly mutilated and decapitated her clients. Their music is characterized by heavy guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and lyrics often inspired by Southern US everyday life. Their self-titled debut album (1976) achieved moderate success, but it was with their second album, *Flirtin' with Disaster* (1978), that the band reached international fame thanks to the title track single. Other representative songs include "Gator Country" and "Devil's Canyon". Molly Hatchet has continued to record music to this day, maintaining a loyal fan base worldwide.
