Heidevolk is a Dutch folk metal band formed in 1994. Their sound combines traditional Dutch instruments, such as the flute and bagpipes, with heavy metal riffs and lyrics in Dutch often dealing with historical and mythological themes. Among their most representative songs are "Walhalla Wacht", "De Strijdlust Is Geboren" and "Wodan Heerst".
