Tanti anni fa, in qualche libro l'ho letto
The Rockky Band is an Italian music group formed in Palermo at the beginning of the 2000s. The founding members are Paolo Rockky (guitar, vocals) and Alessio Rockky (bass, vocals), who had already collaborated in a punk-rock band in previous years. The turning point came with the writing of "Lasciate stare Silvio", an ironic and satirical song that marked the beginning of their career. The sound of the Rockky Band is characterized by rough, innovative sounds, accompanied by genuine and often provocative lyrics that address social and personal themes with a touch of cynicism and humor. Among the most representative songs are "Lasciate stare Silvio", "Voglio stare qui" and "Coito Interrotto". In 2010 Alessandro Rockky (drums, vocals) joined the band, completing the lineup. The band has released an album and several music videos, achieving modest success in Sicily and beyond. The Rockky Band are known for their anarchist spirit and direct approach to the audience, making them a unique and appreciated musical reality.
