Killerpilze are a German punk rock band formed in October 2002 in Berlin. The original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Florian Richter, bassist Andreas Schglagheck, drummer Daniel Schmidt, and keyboardist Philipp Klöckner. In March 2007, Schglagheck left the band for school reasons, leaving Killerpilze as a trio. After starting out playing in Berlin clubs, they signed with Universal Music and achieved national success in Germany in 2008 with their debut album "Killerpilze".
