“Siamo uno solo, ma cantiamo in tre”, è questo il motto della band formata da Giovanni Ludovisi (contrabbasso e voce), Sami Nanni (chitarra e voce) e Diego Zaccagnini (batteria e voce). Il gruppo nasce sotto il nome di Anicecream, quando i tre membri sono adolescenti; dopo vari anni di inattività, in cui ciascuno dei tre intraprende percorsi di studio differenti arricchendo il proprio bagaglio di artista, la band “rinasce” nell’agosto del 2021, con una nuova consapevolezza e formazione e un nuovo nome: Darnout. Il gruppo riparte con nuovi progetti e lavora sulle particolarità che andranno a distinguerlo, come la sostituzione del basso elettrico con il contrabbasso e la presenza di tre voci anziché una sola. Dopo questa rinascita, la band entra in studio di registrazione: il lavoro è svolto in parte presso lo studio di Giovanni Ludovisi, in parte presso lo studio di Marco Quaglia e poi è missato e masterizzato presso “Officina Musicale” dal fonico Roberto Mascia. Tutto ciò dà vita a sei singoli, pubblicati a partire da marzo 2023. La presentazione live del progetto avviene invece il 25 aprile 2023 presso il Dopolavoro Ferroviario di Velletri, in occasione della Festa della Liberazione. L’attività prosegue poi presso altri importanti festival, come il Primo Maggio dei Castelli 2023 (Velletri) e Bajocco Festival 2023 (Albano Laziale). Il primo singolo “Canzone semplice” porta il gruppo su Radio Rock e Radio Kaos e fa iniziare la collaborazione con l’etichetta Red Owl. “A.R.L. (Avrai ragione liberamente) è il loro ultimo singolo.
