Don Cosimo Schena (Brindisi, 1º giugno 1979) è sacerdote, psicologo clinico, filosofo e scrittore, considerato oggi una delle voci più seguite e ascoltate della comunicazione spirituale digitale in Italia. Dopo gli studi in ingegneria informatica, a 22 anni lascia l'università per seguire la vocazione al sacerdozio: viene ordinato il 4 giugno 2009 e attualmente è parroco della chiesa di San Francesco d'Assisi a Brindisi. Si laurea in filosofia all'Università di Verona e consegue il dottorato alla Pontificia Università Lateranense con una tesi su Simone Weil; ottiene anche la laurea in psicologia clinica e dinamica e la specializzazione in psicoterapia, integrando così competenze teologiche, filosofiche e psicologiche nella sua attività pastorale e di accompagnamento. Con oltre un milione di follower complessivi, è riconosciuto dalla stampa come uno dei sacerdoti più seguiti sui social media: la sua presenza su Instagram, TikTok, Facebook e X è nata quasi per gioco, con brevi poesie e riflessioni, ed è diventata nel tempo un presidio di ascolto e consolazione per migliaia di persone, soprattutto giovani. Autore di numerosi libri tra spiritualità, narrativa e poesia, nel 2025 pubblica con Piemme Da quando ti ho trovato. Una storia d'amore, fede e amicizia, scritto "a due voci" con la sua cagnolina Tempesta: un racconto autobiografico in cui l'incontro con un cane abbandonato diventa occasione di guarigione, rinascita e nuova speranza per chi vive fragilità e solitudini. Il volume, uscito il 25 novembre 2025, è distribuito nelle principali librerie e store online ed è stato presentato da diverse testate nazionali. Negli anni precedenti ha firmato anche raccolte e racconti natalizi, come Fantastici racconti di Natale, in cui unisce attenzione agli ultimi, incanto del Natale e impegno concreto: molte delle sue pubblicazioni sostengono progetti di solidarietà a favore di poveri, donne in difficoltà e animali. Vive con i suoi due cani, Tempesta e Baloo, che sono diventati parte integrante del suo ministero e del suo immaginario narrativo: nelle sue storie la cura per gli animali e la difesa dei loro diritti si intrecciano con il Vangelo della misericordia e con una spiritualità vicina alla vita quotidiana. Tra parrocchia, studi clinici, scrittura e musica, con brani come "Resta qui è Natale" che danno voce a chi si sente fragile nel tempo delle feste, Don Cosimo porta avanti una missione semplice e radicale per ricordare a ciascuno di noi che le ferite non sono la fine della storia, ma il luogo in cui l'amore può ricominciare.
