Gondwana è un gruppo musicale cileno formatosi nel 1987 durante la dittatura di Pinochet. Il loro stile musicale fonde influenze reggae, rock e ritmi tradizionali sudamericani come il bolero. La band ha dovuto mantenere un profilo basso durante gli anni della dittatura a causa del clima politico ostile verso le espressioni di dissenso e l'influenza rastafariana. Dopo la fine della dittatura, Gondwana ha raggiunto una grande popolarità in Cile con il loro secondo album "Alabanza" (1996), che includeva il successo «Antonia». L'album affrontava anche temi politici come la giustizia e la pace mancanti durante la dittatura. Dopo il successo di "Alabanza", Gondwana ha intrapreso un tour mondiale, consolidando la propria posizione come una delle band più importanti del panorama musicale latinoamericano. Alcuni dei loro brani più rappresentativi sono «Antonia», «Libertad», «La Vida Es Un Sueño» e «El Camino».
