Valerio Maracci, known professionally as LaserSight, is a Roman rapper with indie-pop electronic influences. His debut EP, "Sedotto E Abbandonato" (RKH, 2019), features a collaboration with Blue Virus. Following his debut, numerous releases have cemented his success, songs with a strong emotional impact that outline the trajectory of his second EP "Notturno", produced by Safe and released in 2021. The project is supported by the thread of 4 human sensations: expectation, desire, arrogance and awareness, analyzed from the point of view of the Roman rapper. In November of the same year, "Le Due Porte" was released, his first full-length album composed of 10 tracks and preceded by the singles "Limbo" (prod. Safe), "Turista Per Sempre" (prod. Malpensa, feat. Malpensa) and "Kiss V" (prod. Malpensa), highly appreciated by industry professionals and broadcast by numerous Italian radio stations, including national ones. Between 2022 and 2023, LaserSight began an intense live activity that led him to perform on prestigious Italian stages such as the Summer Day Music Festival and Casa Sanremo Live Box 2023. Finalist of the Roma Music Festival 2022, he passed the casting for Una Voce Per San Marino 2022 and performed at the Hard Rock Cafè in Rome for the Radio Sonica Live Show. In the summer of 2023, he won the international Microfono D'Oro competition in the "Senior" category and signed a record deal with the renowned Roman label Visory Records, with whom he began releasing a series of successful singles, written in collaboration with Vittorio Napoletano of the band Malpensa, who also handles their production. With a unique stylistic approach and an instantly recognizable vocal style, LaserSight skillfully combines the bars and punchlines typical of rap with sung verses and choruses, creating suggestive and captivating projects that make him one of the most eclectic, identifiable and multifaceted proposals in the current Italian urban music scene.
