Marco Albani è un chitarrista e compositore italiano nato a Roma. La sua musica si muove sulla sottile linea di confine tra Jazz acustico e World Music, caratterizzata da sonorità mediterranee, africane e sudamericane che comunicano idee e sensazioni con un linguaggio diretto ed emotivamente coinvolgente. Il suo percorso musicale è segnato da una costante ricerca di contaminazione tra ritmi e melodie provenienti da diverse culture, con particolare attenzione agli arrangiamenti e al suono d'ambientazione. Nel 2006 pubblica l'album "Chronos", che riscuote immediati consensi dalla critica specializzata. Nel 2010 esce "Encuentro", un appassionato viaggio nel cuore della musica latino-americana, con la partecipazione di artisti internazionali come Maurizio Giammarco, Marco Siniscalco e Carlos Sarmiento. L'album permette a Albani di raggiungere un pubblico più ampio, ottenendo visibilità su RAI Radio1 e Radio Capodistria. Con il Marco Albani Project partecipa a festival jazz importanti come Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival e Casa del Jazz a Roma. Nel 2021 pubblica "Kallaama", un concept-album che fonde la melodia chitarristica con la vocalità maschile e femminile, esplorando il linguaggio universale della musica. L'album presenta collaborazioni con artisti di livello internazionale come Frances Alina Ascione, Kaw Sissoko e Javier Girotto.
