I Renoir sono un gruppo musicale italiano formatosi nel 2019 a Modica, in Sicilia. La band è composta da Salvatore Alfieri (voce, basso), Tomas Giralt (chitarra, batteria) e Lorenzo Criscione (seconda chitarra). La storia dei Renoir inizia con la pubblicazione del primo libro di poesie di Alfieri, “Il Bacio di Venere”. Non soddisfatto di limitarsi alla poesia, Alfieri decide di creare un gruppo musicale per dare voce alle sue parole insieme a Tomas Giralt, ex batterista degli Overcoma. I due iniziano registrando il loro primo EP, “Stato d’animo”, nel 2020 nello studio di Salvo Puma dei Veivecura. L'EP, pubblicato dalla Lost Generation Records, contiene cinque inediti e vede Tomas suonare sia la batteria che la chitarra, mentre Alfieri si occupa del basso e della voce. Dopo l'uscita dell'EP, Tomas passa a suonare solo la chitarra e il gruppo completa la formazione con Lorenzo Criscione alla seconda chitarra e Riccardo Spataro alla batteria. Nel 2020 registrano il secondo EP, “Tutto quello che non avrei mai voluto”, pubblicato dalla Ciaor Records (Overcoma, Katma), contenente tre nuovi inediti scritti durante un periodo difficile per Alfieri. I Renoir si definiscono post-hardcore, emo-punk e tutto ciò che hanno dentro, con testi introspettivi e melodie intense.
