Biography

Alex Normanno was born in Seregno on April 27, 1981, and grew up in Meda, near Milan, immersed in a musical environment that led him to the piano and his first live performances. Since the 1990s, he has distinguished himself for his intimate and narrative songwriting. In 1999, he participated in the Castrocaro Music Festival with “Definitivo”, achieving great success and launching a season of concerts throughout Italy. In 2004, he reached the final of the Live Show Festival with “Uccidimi tu”. His debut album came out in 2014 with “Non volo”, followed by “Canzone per te” (2015) and “Spiegami tu cos’è” (2016), presented on television in the program Bravissima. In 2016, he entered the national radio circuits with “Non c’è modo di scappare amore”, which remained for four weeks in the Top 10 of the Italian emerging charts (#7). That same year, he also released “L’ultima volta”. In 2017, he collaborated with Simone Tomassini on “Arcobaleno”, a song that tackles social issues and the difficulty of expressing feelings. Between 2018 and 2020, he released a series of songs that consolidated his stylistic identity: “Era solo ieri” (2018), “C’è l’estate” (2019) and “Peter Pan” (2020). The latter, accompanied by a music video that reached 20,000 views in the first few hours and entered the Top 100 emerging Italian charts, gave rise to an international project with two Spanish versions: “Està El Verano” and “Arco De Luz”. In 2022, he released “Sguardi che ritornano”, while in March 2023, “Nuda Così” arrived, which exceeded 35,000 Spotify plays in a few weeks and reached 120,000 streams in three months. In 2025, he returned with “L’amore non ha soluzione”, a song that tackles the theme of adult separations, published by Auditoria Records and written together with Daniele Piovani with production by Aki (Antonio Chindamo).
