Cactus? are an Italian indie rock trio from the industrial plains of northern Italy. Active since 2016, they are known for their lo-fi sound with influences of dance-punk and 80s synth. Their debut EP, "Sorry for My Accent", released in 2016, attracted critical acclaim and public attention, with the single "I Don't Think It's Good for You to Stop Smoking" included in Domino Records' Spotify Best of Indie playlist. In 2017, their collaboration with rapper Bodhi on the track "Amazing, Pt.1", originally an instrumental beat uploaded on Soundcloud, resulted in a viral video and over one million Spotify streams. Their debut album, "No People Party", released in 2019 under Costello's Records, showcases their dynamic musical style and evolved production. Cactus? have performed in Italy, London, and Warsaw, including a participation at the SXSW in Austin in 2020. Over the years, their music has incorporated 80s vibes and dark-pop elements while maintaining their lo-fi / updance roots. With a growing fanbase and an internationally recognized sound, Cactus? continue to experiment and evolve, as evidenced by their second EP of 2021 which embraces the post-pandemic moods of hyperpop.
