Le Fate Sono Morte are an Italian musical group formed in Varese in 2009. The original lineup included Andrea (previously active in the groups The Pixie Meat and Black Velvet Question Mark), Giuseppe, Stefano, and Michele. The band stands out for the originality of their songs and energetic live performances. In 2009 they released the demo "Benvenuti negli anni zero", recorded live at the Conquest studio in Cardano al Campo (Va). The success of the demo led Le Fate Sono Morte to perform in various areas of Northern Italy and to be interviewed on local radio stations. In 2009 they won the rock competition in Varano Borghi and, a month later, recorded their first EP "SERIA(L)MENTE" at SAUNA STUDIO RECORDING, a studio that has collaborated with artists such as Ulan Bator, Amaury Cambuzat and Dente. In 2010 the band performed on about twenty stages in Lombardy, filming two music videos and working on new songs for their 2011 album. In 2011 Michele was replaced by Federico, who also took on the role of backing vocalist. The band continues to perform with renewed energy.
