Le Fate Sono Morte sono un gruppo musicale italiano formatosi a Varese nel 2009. La formazione originale comprendeva Andrea (già attivo nei gruppi The Pixie Meat e Black Velvet Question Mark), Giuseppe, Stefano e Michele. La band si distingue per l'originalità dei brani e le esibizioni dal vivo energiche. Nel 2009 pubblicano il demo "Benvenuti negli anni zero", registrato in presa diretta al Conquest studio di Cardano al Campo (Va). Il successo del demo porta Le Fate Sono Morte a suonare in diverse zone dell'Italia Settentrionale e ad ottenere interviste su radio locali. Nel 2009 vincono il concorso rock di Varano Borghi e, un mese dopo, registrano il loro primo EP "SERIA(L)MENTE" presso la SAUNA STUDIO RECORDING, studio che ha collaborato con artisti come Ulan Bator, Amaury Cambuzat e Dente. Nel 2010 la band si esibisce in una ventina di palchi lombardi, realizzando due video ufficiali e lavorando a nuovi brani per il loro album del 2011. Nel 2011 Michele viene sostituito da Federico, che assume anche il ruolo di secondo vocalist. La band continua ad esibirsi con rinnovata energia.
