Le fate sono morte nascono ufficialmente il 1 Gennaio 2009 dalla voglia di cambiamento e rinnovamento, paradossalmente coincisa con una rinascita. Gli elementi della band vengono da svariate esperienze musicali, Andrea (The Pixie Meat, Black Velvet Question Mark; booking per diverse agenzie organizzatrici di concerti ed art director per molteplici locali milanesi e varesotti), Giuseppe (Solo Emergenza), Stefano (Killer Loop) e Michele (alla sua prima esperienza musicale). Le Fate sono Morte iniziano a farsi conoscere per l'originalità dei brani e per le esibizioni dal vivo che avvengono in più locali in provincia di Varese, Como, Milano, Bergamo. Registrano un primo demo di quattro pezzi, scelti tra una ventina di brani originali e cover, , "Benvenuti negli anni zero" , in presa diretta al Conquest studio di Cardano al Campo (Va) che permetterà loro di esibirsi per sette mesi in più zone dell'Italia Settentrionale, riscontrando un discreto successo di pubblico, ed ottenere interviste da diverse Radio locali come Radio Tor Vergata di Roma, RadioLuposolitario di Varese ecc ). Nel Settembre 2009 la Band partecipa al concorso rock di Varano Borghi vincendolo e un mese dopo registrano il 1° Ep SERIA(L)MENTE presso la SAUNA STUDIO RECORDING gia' al lavoro con svariate realta' italiane e internazionali come ULAN BATOR , AMAURY CAMBUZAT , DENTE , PORNORIVISITE , MERCI MISS MONROE , LO.MO e molti altri . Il 2010 vede LFSM suonare su una ventina di palchi lombardi , dando piu' spazio alla realizzazione dei 2 video ufficiali e alla creazione dei brani da inserire nel nuovo album che vedra' luce nel 2011 . Nuovi brani , un sound piu' maturo rispetto ai brani precendenti gia' di buon livello , un rock che rimane in mente e un singolo potenziale ad ogni brano . Con l arrivo del 2011 si vede la sostituzione di Michele con Federico il nuovo chitarrista solista che si occupera' anche delle seconde voci . La band continua i propri live con una forza in piu' .
