Blutengel è un gruppo musicale tedesco di future pop formatosi nel 1998 da Chris Pohl, già noto per le sue collaborazioni con Terminal Choice, Tumor e Miss Construction. Pohl aveva lasciato il gruppo Seelenkrank a causa di problemi contrattuali e legali. Le canzoni di Blutengel sono caratterizzate da testi in tedesco ed inglese, eseguiti sia da voci maschili che femminili. Il sound del gruppo è un mix di synthpop, darkwave e industrial, con influenze elettroniche e gothic. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Dein Herz", "Lucifer" e "Black Tears".
