Nocturnus è stato un gruppo musicale di technical death metal statunitense formatosi a Tampa, Florida, nel 1986 da Richard Bateman (basso) e Mike Browning (batteria/voce). A completare la formazione iniziale i chitarristi Gino Marino e Vincent Crowley.
