Roberta Scimè is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Sicily in 1989, but residing since childhood in Oggiono (LC). Her passion for music began at the age of nine, inspired by the song "I colori del vento" from the animated film Pocahontas. At ten years old she started composing her first songs in Italian and at fourteen she dedicated herself to classical guitar, later switching to electric guitar at sixteen. She performs both as a soloist and in groups, participating in contests and musical events of all kinds. Since 2017 she has been playing her original songs on acoustic guitar, also contributing to the organization of musical events through her cultural association. In 2018 she won several awards, including the First Prize for New Proposals at the Live Song Festival in Traversetolo (PR) with the song "A thousand wishes", under the chairmanship of Fio Zanotti. In 2019 she received a Special Mention at the Premio CET Scuola Autori di Mogol with the song "Fiume in piena" and collaborated with several composers and musicians. In 2020 she released the EP "Once upon a time", which contains the songs "A thousand wishes", "Too late", "Fiume in piena" and "La nostra meta". The EP has been successful both in Italy and abroad.
