NICE (Stephanie Niceforo) is an indie-pop singer-songwriter from Genoa, Italy. Known as Stephanie, the artist adopted the pseudonym NICE to explore new artistic identities after achieving success in her musical career. Among her achievements: finalist at the Castrocaro Festival on Rai 1 in 2017 with the song “Vivo”, winner of the “Fatti sentire Festival” in Cinisello Balsamo in 2018 with “Maglione rosso”, finalist at the “Tour Music Fest” in 2021 with “Capiterà” and finalist at Area Sanremo 2021. She won the Area Sanremo 2022 as the author of the song “Cornetto e caffè”, performed by Valentina Moro, and wrote “Sempre” for Arianna Gianfelici’s (Amici 2020) first EP. In 2022 she won the Apoxiomeno award with “Panico” and was a finalist at the Premio Mia Martini 2024. NICE has collaborated with artists like Mida (Amici 2023) and Gianmarco Grande, producer of the single “Rosso Fuoco”. Her new single “Amianto”, released on July 21, 2023, features an '80s sound produced by Gianmarco Grande. Since January 20, 2024, she has been part of Maledetta Records' roster, where she reworks her songs into a mix of classical and electronic sounds. The song “Panico”, released on March 8, 2024, tackles themes like domestic violence and its consequences for women. NICE performed at the Teatro Govi in Genoa to present the new single, quickly achieving great success on Spotify. On May 24, 2024, she released “Lontani da qui”, in anticipation of the Sanremo Giovani selections.
