Malecherifarei is the musical project of Michele Maccaferri, a photographer from Bologna, Italy, born in 1985. After classical education and an interrupted university path to pursue photography, he spent five years in South America before returning to Bologna in 2016. It was there that he decided to give space to his passion for music. His self-titled debut album, released in 2020, is a concept album about the end of an important love story, characterized by timeless rock with electric and songwriting influences. The first single, "Sangue nelle Vene", enters the iTunes charts, while "Altomare" is included in a playlist for the Spanish TV series "La Casa de Papel". After the live promotion was interrupted in 2020 due to the pandemic, Maccaferri recorded his second album in Rome in 2021. The album, produced by Roberto Guarino, was released in 2022 with the label Miraloop with the single "Vertigine" as the first release.
