na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Dio fa proprio caldo no qui non ci resto
na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
e non ti arrendi mai…
ma dimmi almeno un nome tu c'è l'hai.
Daniele Moraca is a Calabrian singer-songwriter and poet, born in Cosenza. He graduated in Music and Performing Arts from the University of Calabria with a thesis on Rino Gaetano. He is a cultural expert in anthropology and teaches acoustic guitar and singing. His passion for songwriting has led him to analyze poetic musical songs from an anthropological perspective. Moraca collaborates with the OMG group for music production and with the chair of cultural anthropology at the University of Arcavacata, Rende (Cs). His songs, characterized by a warm Mediterranean musical style, address current and engaging themes such as youth issues, politics, social issues, and love. His musical career began in the 1980s with the formation of the Kembò group, with whom he performed in various Italian squares. Moraca is known for his one-man band performances, which have taken him to cities in Italy and internationally, including Torshavn (Faroe Islands), Vancouver (Canada), Brussels, Paris, and Baden Baden (Germany). In 1984, he released his first album, “L’aquila e la nuvola”, which reflects his sensitivity in telling everyday stories with simplicity and naturalness. My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
