Alle grida strazianti e dolenti
Di una folla che pan domandava
Il feroce monarchico Bava
Gli affamati col piombo sfamò
Furon mille i caduti innocenti
Sotto al fuoco degli armati Caini
E al furor dei soldati assassini
“Morte ai vili!” la plebe gridò
L’infinita catena dei ladri
Dopo averci ogni bene usurpato
La sua sete di sangue ha saldato
In quel giorno nefasto e crudel
Tu non rider Sabauda marmaglia
Se i fucili han domato i ribelli
Se i fratelli hanno ucciso i fratelli
Sul tuo sangue quel sangue cadrà
Su piangete mestissime madri
Quando oscura discende la sera
Per i figli gettati in galera
Per gli uccisi dal piombo fatal
