Dargen D'Amico, real name Jacopo Matteo Luca D'Amico (Milan, 1980), is an Italian rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, lyricist and DJ. Active since 2003, he stands out for a musical style that blends rap, alternative rock and electronic music, characterized by introspective and often ironic lyrics. In 2007, he founded the independent record label Giada Mesi with Francesco Gaudesi. Among his most notable albums are "Dargen D'Amico" (2006), "Il mio nome è Dargen D'Amico" (2010) and "La mia vita in 3 atti" (2017). Some of his most representative songs include: "Non c'è niente di male", "Senza un motivo", "L'amore non esiste". D'Amico has collaborated with numerous Italian artists, including Salmo, Marracash and Fabri Fibra.
