Dorian Once Again is an Italian musician, producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter born in Rome. In 2017, he placed among the finalists of the prestigious international World Music Trophy festival held annually in Las Vegas, winning a trophy in the rock category with his song "Right Direction", a synth rock track with new wave flavors. He has released a series of singles, some grouped into an EP released in 2018 titled "Play It Again... Dorian". This eclectic album includes tracks ranging from decadent acid rock like "Pray", featuring a paroxysmal final solo, to the dark rhythm and blues of "Le Scelte Che Fai" (The Choices You Make), and even hip-hop influences with an obsessive and driving rhythm in "Ciò Che Di Te" (What Of You). He concludes his musical journey in this album with the dark romantic song "Lo Sai Ti Amo" (You Know I Love You). In 2018, he also released the album "Memento Mori", composed of seven tracks with existential and esoteric themes. Dorian Once Again's style is characterized by a blend of Floyd-inspired rock, extensive use of synths that give it a dark feel, and guitars capable of soaring solos. His mystical ballads are interwoven into a corpus that reaches beyond the sky. From his early singles released in a folk liturgical style for their poignant lyrics like "Lungo Il Sentiero" (Along The Path) and "Dove Sorge Il Sole" (Where The Sun Rises), to the dictates of post-romantic songwriting like "Il Tuo Ritorno" (Your Return), he touches upon the epic sentimentality of "Lei Mi Dice" (She Tells Me) and "Parlami Guardami" (Tell Me, Look At Me). In January 2019, his concept song "Nihil - The Nothing" was released, a contemporary cosmic work. In April 2019, his new album "Bianco Selenico" (White Lunar) was released, continuing with existential themes and consisting of 10 tracks. In December 2019, he released an instrumental work titled "Soundtracks", 10 suites of chamber electronic music designed for images and moving sequences. If light comes from darkness, his music comes from silence. An absolute new wave in the vast musical ocean of the web and ether. His production ranges from evocative ballads to pop rock structures, new age psychedelia with blues and jazz influences, creating a crossover of musical styles.
