Alarum è una band australiana di progressive metal tecnico jazz-fusion proveniente da Melbourne. Attiva dal 2004, il gruppo si distingue per uno stile musicale che richiama i pionieri degli anni '90 Atheist e Cynic. Le loro influenze includono anche Death, band spesso reinterpretata nei concerti. Alarum è attualmente al lavoro sul terzo album, *Natural Causes*, previsto per marzo 2010. Tra le nuove canzoni presentate in concerto figurano il brano omonimo *Natural Causes*, *Latin* e due pezzi provvisoriamente intitolati *Liquorland* e *Thirsty Camel*.
