Estrels è una cantautrice romana di ventidue anni nata a San Paolo, Brasile, a luglio del 2001. Dopo un breve periodo a Rio de Janeiro, si trasferisce a Roma nel 2006. Il nome d'arte deriva dalla traduzione portoghese del suo nome, Stella. Fin da piccola è attratta dalla musica, innamorandosi definitivamente all'età di otto anni ascoltando Evanescence e Skillet. Impara l'inglese traducendo i testi delle canzoni che ama e inizia a suonare il pianoforte per tre anni. La sua formazione musicale si arricchisce con la chitarra appresa autodidatticamente a circa dodici anni. Influenzata da artisti come The Fray, Green Day, Coldplay e Linkin Park, Estrels inizia a scrivere canzoni intorno ai quindici anni durante il liceo linguistico. Nel 2022 collabora con i musicisti KO m.p.a., pubblicando i suoi primi singoli "Bones" e "Left Out". Inizialmente influenzata dal country e folk, la sua musica si evolve verso un sound indie/pop. Dopo aver suonato nei locali del circuito emergente romano, nel 2023 pubblica due singoli autonomamente prodotti da KO. La lingua prevalente nei suoi testi è l'inglese, ma non mancano composizioni in italiano e portoghese. A dicembre 2024 esce il singolo "marble", anticipando l'album "the song of the sirens" uscito il 31 gennaio 2025, preceduto dal singolo "destination".
