Pensiero Nomade è il progetto musicale ideato dal polistrumentista siciliano Salvo Lazzara, romano di adozione. La sua formazione musicale si basa su influenze pop rock britanniche, new wave e dark wave elettronica. Nel 1991, la passione per il progressive lo porta a fondare i Germinale, una delle band prog italiane più apprezzate degli anni '90, autrici di tre album e presenti in numerosi dischi tributo. Dopo l'esperienza con i Germinale, Lazzara si trasferisce a Roma dove studia jazz e improvvisazione con Fabio Zeppetella e Umberto Fiorentino. È qui che nasce Pensiero Nomade, un progetto musicale caratterizzato da un approccio nomade alla ricerca sonora, esplorando timbri, ritmi e derivazioni sonore. Le sue influenze spaziano dalle tradizioni etniche a contaminazioni elettroniche (Sakamoto, David Sylvian, Fennesz), con riferimenti jazzistici come Oregon, Steve Tibbetts e Terje Rypdal. Il suo debutto discografico avviene nel 2008 con l'album "Per questi ed altri naufragi" per AMS Records. Seguono album per Dodiciliune, Zone di Musica e infine Filibusta Records, con cui pubblica il settimo lavoro, "Un cerchio perfetto", un ritorno alle origini.
