Rigo, pseudonimo di Mattia Righi, è un rapper italiano nato a Cesena in Emilia Romagna. Cresciuto nell'ambiente hip-hop locale, Rigo ha iniziato a scrivere testi e partecipare a jam session fin da giovane. L'incontro con il produttore Telle lo ha introdotto al mondo dei sample e alla cultura rap, influenzando profondamente la sua musica. Durante gli studi universitari, Rigo ha sviluppato un approccio ibrido all'hip-hop, incorporando elementi del cantautorato italiano e della tradizione letteraria. La sua scrittura diventa più narrativa, con una struttura essenziale che si concentra sulla parola e sul suo significato profondo. Influenzato da artisti come Giorgio Gaber e Sandro Luporini, Rigo ha composto le musiche per diverse produzioni teatrali a partire dal 2017.
