Banda Putiferio is an Italian musical and theatrical group active for over a decade. Known for their laborious approach to project dissemination, they have developed an aesthetic that blends music, theater, and performance, defined as "contamination" in more traditional cultural environments. The collective has collaborated with artists from diverse fields, including Antonio Rezza and Flavia Mastrella, Bebo Storti, Dario Fo and Franca Rame, Ivano Marescotti, Lucia Vasini, Roberto Brivio, Roberto "Freak" Antoni, Andrea G. Pinketts, Daniele Sepe, David Thomas, Lia Celi, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, Michele Serra, Nicoletta Vallorani, Steve Piccolo and many others. The group's four discographic and editorial productions have given rise to a true "Collettivo Putiferio", which has seen the participation of a wide range of artists. In addition to several awards, Banda Putiferio was designated as an "Anti-Mafia" group by the "Musica contro le mafie" Festival.
